Hello! I'm Brittany Brodhag, now in my seventh year as an 8th-grade science teacher at Salida Middle School. I earned my master's degree in Kinesiology from Sacramento State, and my passion for education has always been driven by a desire to integrate technology into hands-on learning experiences.
My commitment to creating an engaging classroom environment has led me to implement project-based learning while incorporating computer science. I also played a key role in developing a Makerspace for Salida Union, which has significantly increased student engagement across our site. Beyond the classroom, I took on the exciting challenge of launching and leading the Salida Middle School cheerleading squad for the past three years, helping to boost school spirit.
Balancing my professional and personal interests, I actively seek out professional development opportunities and enjoy learning from fellow educators. I look forward to continuing my journey in education—empowering students and contributing to the Salida Middle School community.
