ETC! 2025 has ended
Saturday February 22, 2025 9:50am - 11:05am PST
Performing arts videos, audio play, and thousands of drama texts from the Alexander Street platform are now part of COMPASS, the California Online Media Program for Access and Student Success from the State Library. And in 2024, we added a collection of CNN current-event documentaries, the American History in Video collection, and expanded the PBS offerings. These are FREE for all California public schools and local libraries. Watch a performance of FRANKENSTEIN from the National Theatre of Britain or examine performances from the Royal Shakespeare Company. Listen to an audio play from LA Theatre Works with Hollywood stars. Explore diverse drama texts from the Black, Asian American, Latin American, and North American Indian drama collections (great for Ethnic Studies classes), as well as women’s and contemporary world drama. This session can be useful for all grade levels, but we’ll have a strong focus on middle and high school resources.
